I knew it was a kookaburra because on a school excursion to Chichester Dam (up the Barrington Mountains way) many years ago, the mums on the excursion were barbecuing the sausages while the kids were off looking around and a kookaburra flew down and pinched a sausage while it was cooking and flew off with it. Cheeky buggar.
